One thing that has always amazed me about the fans of my alma-mater Nebraska Cornhuskers is their intense loyalty to their state university and its football team. Even in far western Nebraska, somewhere much closer to Wyoming, South Dakota, or even (gasp) Colorado than Lincoln, the Cornhusker fans are everywhere. And they show it. I recently had the opportunity to drive through parts of Western Nebraska and I found signs of Huskers fans from North Platte to Thedford, from the Sandhills to the Platte Valley. This gallery is some of the proof. I love this state.
